The Workers Solidarity Alliance is a nationwide organization of anarcho-syndicalists (or anarchist unionists).
We believe that the working class is in a prime position to overthrow the ruling class given its essential
economic role in society. It is we, the workers, who provide the bosses with the skills, knowledge and labor
that give them their profits. Without us, no plant or office could run, no ship could sail, no train could run, no
periodical printed, no office cleaned, no document typed, no food produced, no food served. Without us, you
could not use the internet.
At present the WSA only functions as a small agitation and educational group, but our aim is to build a
national network of radical workers capable of building a revolutionary labor movement. In building
organizations that are directly run by the membership, we not only create more effective organizations for
fighting the bosses in the day to day struggles; we will also be laying the foundation for a new society run by
working people.
The Workers Solidarity Alliance is sympathetic to the "Aims & Principles" of the International Workers
Association (IWA). The IWA is a world-wide federation of revolutionary unions and anarcho-syndicalist
agitation/education groups. The IWA has existed since 1922. Its most famous union is the Spanish National
Confederation of Labor (CNT).
